Don't go to Walmart for glasses, especially the Mechanicsville location. My glasses were not ground properly and they will not stand behind them (they either measured incorrectly or were ground incorrectly but either way the optical centers are off and can only look out one eye at a time) and trying to resolve the problem the people are very rude, even the manager. I have a $300 pair of glasses I cannot wear. They told me to go back to the eye dr which I did but by then I was outside of the 60 day window (which I was never told about). BAD BAD BAD!!! the only reason they got one star is you can not use negative rating!!

My 90 yr old mother was treated with respect and dignity. She was at the time a bit hearing impaired and was a bit slow in making up her mind about what frames to get because of her horrible eyesight in the first place. The young lady that took care of her prescription really showed she cared for her. When we came back to get her glasses mom said that something was wrong. No problem, they double checked and all was right at their end so we went back to her specialist and sure enough it was that they made a mistake not Walmart Vision Center. The young lady sent back the glasses and corrected the prescription strength at no extra charge to my mother. The reason I gave it a 4 is because we do not like the noise that came from the store which made it hard for my mother to understand the young lady and it was hard to park and walk into the store for mom. We are going back though because the service is excellent.
