Sean D. Green, MSN APRN FNP-BC, grew up in TCU area of Fort Worth, Texas. During that time, he graduated from R.L. Paschal High School, and attended Texas Christian University briefly for 2 years while majoring in Art. While working in the field of art advertising and graphic design, it was at this time when Sean turned his attention to pursue a career in Healthcare; specifically in the field of Nursing. Graduating from Tarrant County College with an Associates Degree in Nursing in 1996, he immediately entered into work as a Nurse at Harris Methodist Southwest (Texas Health Resources) in Fort Worth, TX; working in virtually all areas of this hospital from the Emergency Room to the Medical/Surgical floor. During this time he advanced his proficiency in Nursing; eventually becoming a Charge Nurse, Certified in Chemotherapy Administration, and became a branch representative for the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for Texas Health Resources where he served for approximately one year. Sean continued on his trek to become a Family Nurse Practitioner; returning to school earning both his Bachelor's (1998), then Master's of Science in Nursing (2004), from the University of Texas at Arlington. It was during these years that Sean was recognized with several awards for his scholastic achievements, as well as the prestigious "Great 100 Nurses of DFW" award in 2004. In early 2005, he was awarded with his Board Certification in Family Practice from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Since that time, Sean departed his long-standing hospital career at THR, and began his career working as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a Private Practice in Fort Worth, TX. Although readily busy with his patients, Sean also continues to be an active participant in many professional groups, as well as an avid reviewer of current research and literature.
