I took my twins in today for a very basic blood draw for each child. With one of my kids, the nurse/tech "blew out" the vein in his right arm, and openly blamed him for trying to grab his arm (he's five) and me, for not holding his left arm. She never instructed me to hold his left arm down. She tried the left arm and couldn't get a blood flow . By this time, my child is in hysterics. She says, "expect a bruise there!" and "oh, it's over! What are you crying about?" Seriously.
No apology. No empathy for my child. This person is unqualified to draw blood from children (and maybe even adults). My kid is basically traumatized over the experience and no blood was even taken. I was told to come back in 48 hours to try again. I don't feel comfortable with this lab at all so I'll be going elsewhere. Lots of religious stuff hanging on the wall, but not much in the way of basic empathy or competence. Very upset.

Amazing, I took my baby 2 year old to get his blood drawn and Lynette was amazing. Very patient and sweet. No wait time
