Ask this Ron Folz guy for his insurance. He will make up a bunch of excuses but will not give you his insurance certificate. He will ask for cash or chase quickpay or check made to his name, not company. Spore Buster isn't even a real company name

Ron Folz and Spore Buster are not properly trained mold remediators. They will tell you they use some product that costs $80 per ounce...that's over $10,000 per gallon??? Then you find out they buy stuff at Home Depot like bleach. Ron Folz will have you make the check payable to his personal name and then run to the bank and cash it right when he leaves. He closed his office address in Mchenry so you can't find him

Be careful of this guy. I asked him several times if he was certified for mold remediation. He gave me a brochure that showed a Certified Mold Remediator emblem and when I called the place to check on him, they had never heard of him and said he was using their certification fraudulently. When I challenged Ron Folz, the owner, about this, he then backtracked and said that the state doesn't require certifications. So he lied. Then I was suspicious about this guy, so I checked public records and he has been pulled over TWICE in the last month and cited for no business auto insurance which IS the law. Ron Folz and Spore Buster are not actual companies or mold remediation professionals. No verifiable insurance or training.

Ron Folz and spore Buster are thieves and liars! Do NOT use them! They have stolen $3,400 from us. Ron Folz says he will meet us to pay us back for work he never completed, but then blows us off and lies as the time comes near. I have a recorded message of him telling us he will pay us back. They cannot be trusted. Please save yourself the headache and go with a licensed asbestos removal company BC Spor Buster is not licensed!!! Check with the IL EPA and Dept. of Public Health to make sure the contractor you use is licensed.

Ron came out on a Sunday to do an inspection. Very knowledgable

I had to have mold remediation done to sell my house and Ron got the job done fast so we could close on time. I also received a 15 year warranty to give the new buyer. Most other mold companies wouldn't give me any warranty.
