George L. Stankevych, M.D., is an experienced OB/GYN who provides care to all of McHenry County, IL. For more than 26 years, Dr. Stankevych has been noted for his exceptional bedside manner as he handles women's preventive care, gynecological diseases, and surgery. Our team also includes two certified nurse-midwives and we are equipped to handle vaginal delivery after cesarean sections, and the doctor is paged for emergencies 24 hours a day. Services provided with compassion include: Birth-control options, Evaluation, and treatment of infertility, Tubal sterilization, Laparoscopy/laparoscopic hysterectomy, Colposcopy, Treatment of heavy menstrual cycles, Urinary stress incontinence, and Endometrial ablation. Dr. Stankevych is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has extensive experience guiding women through menopause, PMS, and urinary incontinence evaluations and treatments For more than 20 years.
