Maumelle Middle School offers Title 1, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and English as a Second Language programs (ESL). The school also provides special and gifted and talented education programs. Its core curriculum includes various subjects, including English, social studies, science and mathematics. Maumelle Middle School additionally offers classes in keyboarding, physical education, fine arts, oral communication, and health and safety to students in grades six and seven. The school s parent-teacher association sponsors a variety of extracurricular activities and fundraising events for parents, teachers and students. Located in Maumelle, Ariz., it operates a library that houses a variety of atlases, dictionaries, encyclopedias, textbooks, newspapers, and fiction and nonfiction books.
