General Info

Dr. Kevin R. Rier is a board-certified urologist with over 20 years of experience, including currently serving as the Medical Director of the Mason City Ambulatory Surgery Center, and a member of the Board of Trustees and past President of the Mason City Clinic. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Iowa. Dr. Rier graduated with his undergraduate degree in General Science from the University of Iowa as part of the Honors Program, and then received his medical degree from its College of Medicine. He completed residency training in Surgery and Urology at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center, gaining valuable skills and knowledge before beginning his practice. In addition to his training and practice tenure, Dr. Rier has participated in several urology research studies with the University of Iowa and University of Oklahoma. He is also a member of several professional organizations, including the Iowa Medical Society, Iowa Urological Society and the American Urological Association.
