I was a little nervous about buying an extended warranty for my used car until I spoke with Mack Green. He was professional, clear and concise on how the policy worked. His top notch customer service is a thing of the past!

I did a lot of shopping around and it was very apparent that NVPS was not only the best value but also has a staff full of outgoing people who actually converse with you like a person. I found this company is also VPA certified which is huge because most others are in fact not! I will definitely be staying with them!

Terrible. High Pressure. Likely a scam. They didn't want to let me off the phone and tried to get me to make a payment right away. Representative got very rude and defensive when I told her that I needed to check with my fiance first.

I agree, this business does not deserve a star - but one is required to leave a comment.

This is one of the most rude business interactions I have ever dealt with. They called me in the middle of the work day, put me on hold 3 times and transferred me to 4 different people before I even knew what the call was about! Insisted that I pay a $400 down payment TODAY to reinstate my coverage (followed by 12 payments of $233). When I said I needed to speak with my husband and discuss with him first, they would not let me get off the phone. Insisted that they conference him into the phone call. I explained that he is also at work and I need to check first to see when he will even be available to take a phone call - and they still insisted that we conference him in now. I asked repeatedly if I could speak with him and call them back after we have had a chance to discuss and they kept saying (very rudely might I add), "I know it's not a priority to you now because your car runs fine, but most people don't call us back so we need to take care of this now." Like I give a rip what most people do or don't do. The lady spoke over me with every sentence and obviously wasn't listening to a word I said. I would rather have no car at all than to deal with these people again.

Changing your pushy tactics and eliminating your rude employees should be your top priority.

They have another number now: 877-336-0715, and they think I still live in a house I have not had for four years. They also told me that my three year policy that I got from them while living there (obviously I didn't) was about to expire, and i needed to review. When i laughed at the man then he tried to tell me that I needed to change my tone of voice, and I told him what to do with his policy before hanging up. They immediately called back with their 314 area code number, and then I did have a "tone" and an "attitude", and they hung up.

This is a scam. They didn't have all of the information about my car that someone would have and claimed I purchased my vehicle in 2006 (it's a 2007 and I bought it in 2009). They said the wrong dealership that I purchased it through and were adamant about forcing me to give them my credit card number.

Ever time I refused and ask for a phone number to call them back, the more intense they got telling me I had to do this now because I was in danger of having to pay $3,000.00 for a new transmission.

My extended warranty on my car is for 100,000 miles and I have 74,000 on it so far.

This is a scam.

This is a scam. They try to get your credit card number while on the phone.

You will get placed on infinite hole, or sent to voicemail when calling them back. You will never reach them again via phone. (You may try calling any of the number on their website to validate my statement now)

Their address is fake. It is the address of other business.

After you gave them the credit card, they will send you a coverage package in a couple day. Those are fake documents, and you won't be able to file a claim. Those document are just to trick you into believing they are legit. And so you won't find out until you try to file a claim.

Please stay away from them.

They operate under some other similar name. One of them is Autoprotectiondepartment.com

They called me repeatedly. Finally when I did answer I was told that I couldn't see any of the paperwork or the policy. Had to pay with my credit card TODAY. Sales person was very rude and tried to pressure me into a purchase. I ended up hanging up on him. I just got another call today saying that I could get a better policy for less. Needless to say, I don't care about the price. I'm not buying it. Very negative experience overall.

Ugh!

I have been receiving a phone call from this number for about a couple times a day for a week now. I was busy during those times so I did not pick up. Well, I just received a phone call from them at 8:15 pm about my previous vehicle. That wanted to tell me the extended warranty has expired and that I needed to act today if I wanted to keep the warranty. I informed the agent that I traded that vehicle in a year ago, and she told me to hold on the phone while she talks to her supervisor because I should be "getting something in return". I decided to hold on for a minute to see what she would come back with. Can you guess what it was? Yup, an extended warranty for my new vehicle. I told the rep that I do not need an extended warranty, because I already had a 5 year warranty...but she continued to insist that I needed to take their company's warranty, because their warranty is b2b and mine warranty is not. I told her I didn't remember standing next to me when I was signing my contract, and if she was there, why didn't she warn me. Lol. I told her that I need to take a look at my contract, but at 8:20 pm, I am not looking for anything but the remote and a snack. She was relentless in her approach, telling me that i need to take the warranty today or I won't get the offer again. I told her once again, I am not shopping for a warranty. She continued, on and on, until finally, I had to end over-talk her and end the conversation.

When I got their call and figured out who they were, I didn't think much of it because they were correct in that I'd had the vehicle they described. Things progressively went downhill though when the rep tried to tell me that I had cancelled my policy early and didn't collect the cash value. This was not the case as I simply let the warranty expire. The rep insisted that I had some benefits coming my way though and said that I could take advantage of them today... but today ONLY. This is when the rep went off the rails and tried to sell me an extended warranty even after I told him I'd already had one in place on my current vehicle. I'd said that I might be interested if I could compare coverage/details first, but, that I needed to see some documentation so I could put them up against each other. Unbelievably, the rep told me that I had to buy the policy first in order to find out what's in it...!!!??? It reminded me of what Nancy Pelosi stated to the public when talking about Obamacare... "We Have To Pass The Health Care Bill So We Can Find Out What's In It." LOL! Even after I told him that there would be no sale without details of the coverage, he kept saying that that was not possible and what card would I like to use for the down payement...?? These people are bottom feeders and should not be trusted.

They have a harassing style and they won't stop calling me. Some barely speak English. I think the law needs to get to work and stop this! I am on DO NOT CALL for what that is worth.

Horrible and harassing. They quoted me thousands of dollars more than my 2005 car is worth. I requested they take me off their call list FIVE TIMES, but continue to call me, wake me up, and waste my time.

Professional and trustworthy

This brokerage is the one my car dealer bought my warranty through, and when it came time to renew they were polite and informative and worked to keep things as affordable as possible. When it turned out to be too much for my budget they were prompt with my refund.

Called me repeatedly while I was at work. I finally took a short break to call back and ask to be removed from the call list. The first lady ignored my request and acted like I had asked for more information and put me on hold. I couldn't believe the way she spoke to me so I stayed on the line to ask again to be removed from the list. This guy again ignored my request to be removed from the list. After he asked me again how many miles were on my car I asked to be removed from the list and he said, "I don't know how to make myself any more clear with the answer to that question." He never answered the question in the first place! So I told him to say, "Yes, you have been removed from the list." At this point he became agitated and started yelling at me. I finally just hung up and hope that they remove me from the list. This is absolutely ridiculous! When I searched the phone number I expected to find nothing on the internet about the business, but here it is. This has got to be a scam, I don't know how they haven't been arrested? DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO!

Horrible. Sweet talked a 93 year old hard of hearing man ON THE PHONE into signing up for this crap, when his car only had 9,500 miles on it, it's a Honda, again, he's 93 and can't hear well. This is what he heard: It's only $395, and he gets complete coverage up to 75,000 miles. What really happened...a close to $3000 policy, with a $395 deposit and $200 a month for years. Calling to cancel was HORRIBLE, shouting match on phone, just want to cancel, and they have the nerve to say things like "we see old people walking into repairs and getting ripped off" only one doing the rip off here is you people. Another person here says it takes an act of congress to cancel, it took more than that, completely OUTRAGEOUS. They should be completely ashamed of themselves. And don't bother responding, Mark, or Matt, or whatever your name is, you're just like the rest of the company and your response will be heard just like all the details you dished out to this poor old man. Only reason there is one star is because it wouldn't let me post with no stars.

The National Vehicle Protection Services is a fraudulent scam operation designed to bilk millions of dollars from hard working Americans. The representatives lie and use high pressure to try and scam you into buying an extended warranty for your car/truck. They send out official business post-cards stating "your factory warranty expires based on mileage or age". This implies your factory warranty has now run out, and you had better buy their fraudulent warranty, which is based on lies. I have even questioned my Toyota Dealership, and they stated it was a scam.

It has been an absolute pleasu...

It has been an absolute pleasure working with National Vehicle Protection Services. My Chevy Equinox broke down on the side of the highway today and it was Labor Day. I thought for sure there was going to be problems but my roadside towed in my Equinox to my garage and also set me up with a rental through Enterprise. I was very happy with the way I was treated and very grateful with the way I was taken care with professionalism, absolute courtesy and respect. Everything that Steve from National Vehicle Protection said they would do when i originally bought my auto protection plan. Thank you again.

I am giving this company a 5 s...

I am giving this company a 5 star review. When I set up my extended warranty I opted for a comp warranty over another that covered less parts than mine. I was told what would be covered and not. I used the warranty 2 days ago for my A/c compressor and was supposed to have a $100 pre payment. When I spoke with my dealer they were very happy with my warranty and said "usually it's a big hassle dealing with these kind of companies" but mine was different. I continued to call them to let them know what the dealer said and at that point decided to waive my $100 pre payment.
