Marquette General Health System provides health care services to the residents of Marquette County, the Upper Peninsula and the surrounding regions. It has a professional staff of more than 650 employees and operates over 35 departments. It offers various services, such as Sports Medicine, pain management, respiratory care, dog therapy, employee assistance and urology services. It also offers a range of testing services, including, chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, cytology, anatomic pathology and transfusion services. In addition, it offers a diabetic program that is recognized by the American Diabetes Association. Marquette General Health System has been operational for more than 100 years and is located in Marquette, Mich.
