We specialize in friendly results oriented training in a home environment. We offer basic obedience, behavior modification and manners training. My services include: *In-Home Private Lessons coaching in owner's home, using dog-friendly humane methods employing positive reinforcement and fair consequences. *Day Training which is in-home training for the dog while the owners are at work. *Camp Good Dog (board and train) training boot camp where the dog lives in my home, often while the owners vacation, and receive intensive training and socialization in a friendly environment. She likes people as much as she likes dogs! She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Animal Behavior from the University of Washington. Gina completed an apprenticeship program at a respected canine training center where she was hired as a full time trainer and taught dog and puppy obedience classes, private lessons, and behavior evaluations. She has experience as an instructor's assistant for the training department of Guide Dogs for the Blind, and as a veterinary assistant. She has also worked and volunteered at a local service/therapy dog organization, a canine boarding facility, and a therapeutic equestrian facility. Gina has participated in countless training seminars and workshops by such internationally renowned professionals in positive training as John Rogerson and Monty Roberts (a horse whisperer). Gina is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer.
