Besides the fact that when I walk in , I am never questioned as to who I am and anyone can walk in and walk around freely,no one is ever at the front desk asking for i.d. and or stopping people from just walking in. I have witnessed the way teachers talk I mean yell at the toddlers(i.e. the teacher from Lacombe who wears the colorful tie dye shirt) and is seen at the Lacombe boat launch smoking weed and drinking) yes I am a parent and I recognize you! Even with the Pb&J tv they do this in plain view. I am sorry I paid the registration fee in advance as well as the first weeks tuition because if I could go somewhere else I would. Save your money and hire a perfect stranger who works from home because your kid would probably better off.
This is a truly amazing facility and I am so happy to have found them. My son is learning every day and I am constantly surprised by what he has learned from his teachers. They serve hot, nutritious meals every day, which is something extremely important to me. They also have plenty of outside play time. Every single staff member I have ever encountered in the facility has been so warming and polite. Watching my son on the webcams eases my mind daily, since we had a terrible daycare experience before finding Tender Years. I see my son's teachers constantly interacting with him, teaching him, remaining patient when any other person would find it hard. One morning I watched his teacher have her hair pulled, was slapped in the face, and her foot stomped on. she remained calm and showed each toddler "soft hands." This is how all of the staff members are. Kind, caring, and doing it for the children. I absolutely love it and so does my son.

The unfavorable review is completely untrue. My two children have been at Tender Years since 2005 and I have been happy with the center. There is age appropriate, structured curriculum that all of the classes follow. The children are given healthy snacks and warm lunches every day. They also play outside in the center courtyard or in separated, age appropriate playgrounds. The director, as well as many of the teachers, has been there for years. My children have learned a great deal and enjoy going to school everyday.

Great school with reasonable prices. I feel very comfortable bringing my child to this school. It is a very warm and friedly atmosphere. The staff and teachers are very friendly, they always greet me and my child with a smile. The classrooms are very bright and cheerful, and most important to me is that my child is happy and loves going to school everyday!!
Tender Years is a last resort option. The physical structure is outdated & you are greeted with the smell of urine & animal crackers upon arrival. Children are continuously crying & appear bored as their "teachers" sit on the floor to watch them play. Young children, under the age of 3, receive very little structured/educational time for songs, games, motor skills, ect. Level of care varies greatly from room to room. I would not place my dog at this daycare much less my child.
