Villa Vancheri is the worst Italian restaurant my husband and I have ever experienced. We were seated at the table closest to the door, with a nearly empty restaurant. There were giant dust balls hanging off the poorly decorated curio cabinet next to our heads. Lights above the bar were blinding. Music was extremely loud and very irritating. Service was terrible - slow as death, and for an average of $25 per entree, salads are an extra $7, but the waitress failed to mention that. Food was greasy, poorly prepared, and neither entree was as described in menu. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

This is a fantastic restaurant. Chef Gio is the real deal. The mussels are great and the calamari in the tomato sauce keeps me coming back again and again. Recently, I had the lasagna and it was by far the best Ive had. I love the Vegas/Rat Pack memorabilia and the intimate dining room with a view into the kitchen. Bravissimo Chef Gio!

Definitely the North Shore favorite. Highly Reccomended.We try to go there at least once a week. Never disappointed.Food is Fresh, The Chef is Delightful. By far the very best Italian Food, Anywhere.

Finally, a real and authentic Italian Restaurant in the North Shore. GREAT food, fresh and individually prepared. We are very proud to have Chef Gio in Mandeville. Thank you. The BEST Italian food anywhere.
