O.K., so I am the one that gave Hackett hill a 1 star previously. My 89 year old friend did get some rehab. The staff seemed pleasant to her although not always attentive to her needs, which were many. I think Hackett Hill really needs to reevaluate someone's entrance and how it is handled but they are not as bad as I originally thought.

Perhaps all rehab centers do this, but when my 89 year old friend was transferred from the hospital to the rehab, the folks at Hackett Hill did not greet her. The 'ambulance driver' wheeled her to the room that the front desk assigned and said 'someone should be along shortly to talk to you'. She remained in her room for 1/2 of a hour before someone came. How lonely and sad!!! I do not know if she is getting the physical rehab attention she needs but she certainly did not get any emotional attention or even common courtesy! Shame on you Hackett Hill!!
