      Dr. James T. Mazzara, MD serves the Manchester, South Windsor, Glastonberry and surrounding Hartford communities. Since starting his orthopedic surgery practice in 1991, he has had the opportunity to care for thousands of patients and perform over 12,000 surgical procedures. Dr Mazzara’s love of being an orthopedic surgeon stemmed from his vast experience and he continues to strive to provide excellent orthopedic care. Dr. Mazzara’s orthopedic specialties include: • Shoulder • Elbow • Knee • Sports Related Injuries • Arthroscopic Surgery • Stem Cell Therapy • Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP) James Mazzara, MD has special interest in the treatment of traumatic, degenerative and sports related conditions for the shoulder, elbow and knee. In his Manchester, and Glastonbury, Connecticut offices, he offers general orthopedic trauma treatment and adult reconstructive surgery. He performs arthroscopic, reconstructive and joint replacement surgeries on the shoulder and knee. Dr. Mazzara also has extensive experience in providing non-operative treatment options of selective orthopedic conditions with ultrasound-guided plate rich plasma (PRP) injections to heal injured tissue and treat painful joints. Dr. Mazzara is board certified in orthopedic surgery, he is a fellow American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) and an active member of the Connecticut Joint Replacement Institute (CJRI). James Mazzara, MD has achieved national prominence, high patient satisfaction and some of the lowest complication rates in the country.
