      General Info
      The City of Manassas Park Department of Parks and Recreation in Virginia provides a variety of recreational and leisure activities to its citizens. It maintains the 25-acre Costello Park, which features a recreation center, community pool, playground, more than five baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, outdoor basketball courts and several picnic areas, and a covered pavilion. It maintains Signal Hill Park, a 110-acre site with a water park, multi-purpose fields, pavilion with restrooms and several picnic areas. Its projects in Costello Park include a skate park, additional restroom facilities, handicap accessible facility with a wheelchair lift in the recreation center, and shade structures for the decks of Signal Hill water park. The City of Manassas Park Department of Parks and Recreation also maintains and improves other facilities, including small parks and public places, historic sites, and operates an afterschool child care program.
