      Human Development Services of Westchester was formed in 1999, by the merger of Futura House Foundation and Human Development Services of Port Chester. HDSW is a private, nonprofit agency offering low-income housing preservation and development, residential services, clubhouse program, and case management services. The organization offers its services to more than 1,000 men, women and families to recover from homelessness, mental illness, and substance abuse. It also offers various residential services that include congregate care, supported housing, and rehabilitation services. HDSW is licensed by, and receives funding from the New York State Office of Mental Health. The organization is funded by the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal, United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, Westchester County, private foundations and individual contributors. Human Development Services of Westchester is located in Mamaroneck, N.Y.
