This place is GREAT!!! What makes it great is the incredible owner Cathy. She is so professional and always so very helpful.

I have been going to her since she opened 20 years ago, however I am inspired today to write a review as she performed a miracle and all of her skills and professionalism shined in adversity. My son, has been trying to use contact lenses for months and after many many frustrating sessions of trying to put them in himself (by his own choice as Cathi offered to coach him initially), he had given up the desire to use them as he could not figure out how to put them in. We went to her shop today to order and get fitted for glasses, and she encouraged him to try once more. After nearly 2 hours, he got them in and eureka!!! He could see well for the first time in years. Happy days!! Oh and she stayed late for my son as well as another patient who needed her.

Mind you she had a shop filled with people at all times (who she attended single handedly) yet she made everyone feel as if they were the only customer there. Talk about juggling, truly inspirational to watch. Always the consummate professional, I look forward to using her exclusively for as long as she is in business. I recommend her without reservation!!!

She does however have one fault, she will only sell you what you need and not try to upsell you. In my son’s case after putting in the contacts, he picked out a set of very expensive frames to have prepared as back-up glasses. Her comment was “look, you don’t need those since you will become so used to wearing contacts that you will only wear glasses in emergencies and rare occasions. Let me sell you a pair that has a similar look but costs a quarter of the price.” This is a bad business practice, but one that shows admirable business character and reflects the qualities of someone who cares about her customers. I wish there were more people in the world like her.
