I have been a patient of this doctor for 20+ years and have had nothing but a positive experience. Yes there is a wait, but he gives me all the time I need. Any time I have had a problem with billing or insurance, the staff has been helpful. COnsidering the fact that so many people are rude to them, I'm impressed at their ability to keep their heads up and be nice.

They made me wait three weeks for an appointment as a new patient. I arrived at 10:30 AM. I departed at 12:15 PM and had never seen a doctor. This was to renew medication for diabetes, so the three weeks caused damage to my health. No intake procedure for a new patient. No on entered information into their computers. Just sat and waited and waited and waited. Two doctors, and in the TWO HOURS that I spent there, only about 8 patients. My appointment was for 10:45 AM. Patients were still taken in ahead of me at 11:30 AM. They even asked if I wanted to reschedule when I left. Right! Next question is if they bill me. I plan to cross file for the cost of my time off, wasted drive cost, and the fee the doctor charges for a no show should probably be applied against him for not coming to his own appointment. Horrible experience. AVOID. (By the way, the nurse when I checked in was elated they had a new patient. Doesn't happen often. I wonder why.)

The doctors here misdiagnosed me on more than one occasion. The first, and worst, was when I went in because my throat was inflamed. I asked to be tested for mono (as a friend of mine said my symptoms were extremely similar to when he had it) but the nurse tried her very best to talk me out of it, saying it was most likely strep throat. I was sent home, against my better judgement, with medication for strep throat.
What a surpise when I returned not long after, feeling far worse than before.
After making a lab test sample to be sent out, the doctor had me lay down to tell me the symptoms I had resembled those of leukemia.
Just imagine my reaction to that one. Then, put that next to my reaction when my test results returned days later saying I in fact did have mono.

I love Dr. Silverman and Dr. Nguyen, but there billing department stinks. They screwed up and charged the wrong insurance because they waited too long. Not my fault, but yet they are trying to send me to collections, when I had valid insurance at the time. Wake up and take care OF YOUR responibility.

Dr. Silverman has always been attentive and professional over the years; however, he appears to be handing the business over to another doctor. The new doctor (Nguyen) appears to be just as excellent as Silverman, but the quality of the staff has declined over the past two years. The front office staff and several of the nurses are rude, and they are impersonal at best. While I am impressed with Dr. Nguyen, I'm switching clinics. I've been a patient of Lake Howell for over ten years, but the staff's behavior is the worst that I've ever seen in a medical office. The script nurse pins prescriptions on a bulliten board for all the staff and patients to see, several of the nurses ignore patient questions, and the front office staff rarely speaks to incoming patients directly.
