We just had Allen Kitchen & Bath do a complete remodel of our master bath and the results are completely opposite to the overly critical review above. The Allen's presentation at the Alliant Center gave us the incentive to go with this company. Our initial consult with designer John, a wizard with colors, really got us excited. Carpenter Ryan, plumbers Thad & Mike, shower construction guys Mike & Dave, scheduler Harvey, as well as others I might have missed created a flawless bathroom in a reasonable time frame. Floors were protected, debris disappeared, and a vacuum was used daily to leave our home cleaner than expected considering the job. I'd have this company back for a future project with complete confidence.

When a kitchen and bathroom remodel was needed, Allen Kitchen and Bath was unfortunately selected due to the false security of name recognition. Here's a SHORT list of things that went wrong; Plugged sewer twice resulting in flooded basement and water streaming through energized light fixture in lower level, broke toilet while remounting, damaged hardwood floors and walls, left a mess at the end of every day, incorrectly installed counter top 3 times before getting it right, tried to pass off cheap materials in place of Wainscot paneling, damaged ceiling fan in kitchen, used flower bed to dump waste, had to redo kitchen floor, had to redo bathroom wall and tile floor, trades people were rude and incompetent in my opinion, Allens were very rude and incompetent in my opinion, work dragged on for months, had to hire an attorney to fire Allen K&B. The total experience couldn't have been worse! I seriously suggest you avoid this company if you want to keep your sanity and not waste your hard earned money!
