I haven't visited Lary's for sometime. The quality is not what it used to be. The cake squares were just blocks of grease. The apple pie was also soaked with grease. The cupcakes were dry with skim coat of frosting instead of being fully piped. The signage differentiating them from a competing shop is also a bit off putting.

If you have not tried Lary's Apple doughnuts you have missed something! They can't be compared to any others. The extra butter used is what makes them double rich, but well worth the calories! I haven't had anything from there that wasn't good. The family owned business is personable and always ready to serve with a smile.
