DO NOT work with John Kelly of JT Kitchen & Bath on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook. He is unprofessional, rude, and simply doesn't care about the work or his clients. After several incidents: John called the police to our house on his own worker; finding one of his crew upstairs in our home we were we not home; overhearing him say he would break into my home, when he didn’t know I was home and listening (because he never gave us the consideration of telling us when and if he was coming to work); being consistently late or not showing up at all; and worst of all, doing poor workmanship because he refused to hire the right people to save a buck, we finally fired him.

Among the highlights of this disaster, he didn't level brand new walls and ceiling. This resulted in the kitchen cabinets not being flush to the ceiling. John's response? "Oh well I didn’t know you would want that, that would have cost a lot.” Without even given us the option of what to put our budget towards, (by the way, a level ceiling and floors should have been top priority). He didn't interweave the new wood floors as agreed, and instead left a gash between the kitchen and dining room, that we had to cover up. Every thing that was done, was done without care. John's crew broke the faucet, scratched the stove, damaged new kitchen cabinets, barely cleaned up the work area, left their trash, promised replaced damaged cabinets that we waited 3 months for to find out in the end he never ordered them, and put the blame on the cabinet company, who actually in the end helped us and took care of it.. etc, etc.
