Celebratory Strings offers music for special events. Karen, Rebekah, Hollie and Alyssa Phillips specialize in music which is well-suited for weddings, teas, dinners and other special events. Our instrumentation works beautifully in outside settings and, without amplification, complements the natural setting. The quality of the violin and flute sound is lovely in churches and chapels as well. Violins and flute are ideal for providing background music for dinners, receptions or other special events as they add an elegant touch without overpowering conversation. We are also happy to provide piano accompaniment for vocalists.

We are a dynamic and flexible musical ensemble with Karen and Rebekah on violin and Hollie on flute. Karen, Rebekah and Alyssa are pianists as well. We have been providing classical duets and trios for weddings, dinners and teas in the Green Bay area for the past 8 years. Not only do we love to play classical music which adds elegance to any event, but we also play Celtic music and have even arranged contemporary music by request for our instrumentation. Because we also play piano, we can accompany vocalists. Our goal is to make the music beautiful and unique for your event.

Celebratory Strings is perfect for outdoor settings, but also works wonderfully in churches or chapels. We generally need no amplification, so there aren't cords and amplifiers which can sometimes be an unattractive element. When we are playing for a wedding, we play for 20 minutes to half hour before the service as the guests arrive, providing an interesting element for them to enjoy as they wait for the service. We are extremely flexible so we can play from balconies, nestled in the back or placed in a more visible area as the instruments are also physically beautiful. We also play as guests are filing out after the service until the room has cleared, providing a musical finishing touch for your service. When we play for weddings, we always have a complimentary session to meet with the bride so she can listen to and choose music for the processional, recessional and any special ceremony music.
