Dishonest People! Ron and Joey, the person who answers the phone are all dishonest. They came to my house replaced a defrost board and charged me $255 parts and labor. They were telling me that my unit was very old. That the wires needed to be redone and etc. Anyhow they didn't resolve my problem. I called them the following day and told them and they came back and said they were going to talk to an expert about Rhud unit. Well they told me my unit was not compatible and gave me a quote for $4,700 to replace the unit. I called a different technician who troubleshot the whole system and fixed the issue saved me the $4,700. The real tech. said that Liberty heating and air didn't connect the defrost board correctly and it seems like they were just fishing me so that I would say go ahead replace my whole unit. Watch out for these scammers!

I called Liberty Heating and Air Inc. for an AC repair and they send a contractor in my house in about an hour.The contractor repair it on time and very friendly. This company deserves to be recommended to anyone that wants a/c repair work.

Called these folks because coils were freezing up and unit was not cooling house. Tech arrived, told me problem was not enough freon, possibly due to a leak, and would not advise checking for leak since unit was 16 yrs old and would be highly impossible to find leak. So had him put in the freon (4lbs). Tech said we might stay cool for a day, or a week, or even a year, depending on how bad the leak was. Well it lasted for 2 days, so now I'm right back where we started from minus $200.00, not alot for some but for senior's quite a bit. Was just wondering if this is standard operating procedures on calls of this type.

This company does not stand by their work and will penny pinch you at every turn. They repaired a compositor on the same unit twice in 13 months and charged me more the second time for the same job after charging me $130 for a hard start kit two weeks earlier. I guess they took advantage of my 90 year old grandmother and the fact that I was calling from 4 hours away to pay for the repair. DISHONEST FOLKS!!!!!
