Ripped off by Scott's to the tune of $689. Their machine pointed to a bad timing belt, but my daughter broke down 3 times on her way home after it was "fixed". An 8 hour trip took over 10 hours. When she finally made it home our auto mechanic looked it over the old fashioned way - by driving it and taking his time. It was the cam sensor for $345. Scott's will never see another of our vehicles.

I have taken three of my vehicles to Scotts and they repaired them quickly and correctly. The price is right too.
I plan to use them for a long time.

These guys are through and through rip offs! I had some car issues. I was pretty sure it was my fuel pump, but didn't have the tools to fix it. So i figured i would take it to someone. A few days later they call me and tell me not only is it the fuel pump, but one of my cylinders has lost all compression. And then he quotes me the amount it would cost to "fix it." He says, "for the fuel pump it will be $800 and the head work will be $2200." So all in all $3000. So obviously knowing a little bit about cars i was skeptical decided not to have them do anything to it. Turns out it was just my fuel pump. Changed it out for $100. These guys are the type of garages that everyone tells you to look out for. I would never suggest anyone to these guys. Look around for someone more reputable!

I take our cars to Scott's on University and the loop anytime we have a problem or need an oil change. Jesse is always super helpful and walks us through any issues that they find. He even sat with my wife after business hours while she waited for her ride just to make sure she was safe after dropping her car off. The price is fair and the service is great. They've even fixed little things they encounter at no extra charge. I'm going to miss having such a trustworthy mechanic to work on our cars when we move away.

My daughter is attending Texas Tech and is quite a way from home. Her truck would not start and she had it towed to Scott's. They said there was nothing wrong with it so she walked to go get it. Not a mile later the check engine light came on. She took it back and they said it needed a tune up. She told them to check and make sure if anything else was wrong so that she wouldn't be stranded again. Take your time she told them. Nothing else wrong they said. She had trouble again immediately. She suspected the heater core was out. I talked to the people that previously had the truck and they admitted they knew the heater core was bad. This means that unless their computer tells them something is wrong they can not figure it out themselves even if it is something obvious. I plan on warning other parents at the Texas Tech parent association not to take their cars to Scott's

They overcharged me by 3x. I had to take it back 4x to get it right. Found a wrench in the fan someone left behind causing more problems. they were careless, rude, immature. tried to rip me off and assumed i knew nothing about cars. they lied, cheated, and stole from me. I will never go back. WARNING!!!! Do not ever go here! It is a rip off and they are rude, rude, rude. scum off the earth.
