A family member hired this attorney to handle his estate. At his passing this attorney failed to notify all of the beneficiaries of the resulting trust to tell them that a trust had been established. He did not meet with all of them to read the will/explain the trust. The majority of them are 80-90 years old and still don't understand it. They incurred additional expense getting another attorney when their questions went unanswered. He countered those questions with more attorneys (that felt like intimidation to make them go away). It has been 5 years and the majority of the beneficiaries still don't know if the estate was ever settled. Our experience with Jim Levin has consisted of secrecy/poor communication and the result has been hurt feelings, confusion, and family turmoil.
