my experience is always great im always in good hands
my dad whom is up in his years had some 40% cater covering his vision. Dr K did an awesome job on helping my dad get back a lot of his vision. One great Dr is all it takes to help people like my dad and for this I thank you Dr K, wonderful person and i appreciate you.

- Dr. Rishi Kumar joined Kumar Eye Institute in 2007, specializing in advanced Cataract Surgery and Glaucoma. Dr. Rishi is a board-certified Ophthalmologist with special interests in Cataract and Glaucoma. He is co-author of several peer-reviewed articles and books in glaucoma diagnostics and has been a mentor to medical students in glaucoma research. He performs over 500 cataract, glaucoma, and laser procedures annually. With his friendly and upbeat personality, Dr. Rishi puts his patients at ease while meeting all their eye care needs. Dr. Rishi completed his surgical fellowship training in advanced cataract and glaucoma with one of the world’s leading eye surgeons at John A. Moran Eye Center in Utah. He completed his residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He obtained his medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2001 and his undergraduate degree from Columbia University in 1997.
