We were looking to upgrade out internet service to cable also something so simple has turned into a big nightmare. I can't watch t.v. without having to call customer support I have talked to a list of service tech who no nothing and the list goes on. Worse television experts ever. I actually asked to speak with the man who owns the company which by the way I was told by customer service He knows nothing about the company.

Service is very poor and you can't get an honest answer from the company. Non-cookied sites won't download before timing out. Customer service blames problems on home equipment first (It isn't). I can't even load up their own speed test site. The whole northeast side of town is apparently affected, including businesses in Linden, Hurstbourne and Anchorage that I know of. But no one at the company acknowledges any problems or indicates any time for resolution. And they dropped some premium channels too. Looking for another provider.

For me the transition to Time Warner has been horrible. Spent an entire day with various reps on the phone who were all unable to convert my e-mail to Time Warner. While on vacation received another card with instructions that never worked the first time. E-mail password from insight? How would I know that? I didn't set up the account. These insructions are for people with good pc skills. I, like many others rely on mobile technology and I am not able to do something this complicated. Time Warner should send a tech to my home. If not,I will either have to pay one or change to u-verse who has promised to send a tech. After the extreme rudeness I have experienced from Time Warner, I literally feel sick when I have to pay them. Time Warner employees have a rude, arrogant, and nasty way of speaking on the phone. I believe this behavior always starts at the top. A few other companies previously in Louisville with similar behavior all went out of business.

I'm very disappointed that Insight offers home phone service however DOES NOT have any kind of phone directory like ATT does. If a person or business has their phone svc through Insight, you cannot look in the local phone book (white pages or yellow pages) & find that phone # that you need. There are so many local business' that have their phone svc through Insight & there's no way, that I know of, to look up their phone #. If there some way to access that information, I've NEVER known of it. That is what I would suggest for Insight. That is all. Thank you so much!

I do not think very many viewers in Kentuckiana are interested in traffic, weather or local news in Rochester, NY. Bring back WLKY Channel 32 or give subscribers a credit on their bills. Not being able to view local channels probably will help satellite companies gain new customers.

Horrible customer service, appointment times are never kept. They have also charged my debit card for twice the amount of the payment - twice. Each time it has taken 5-7 days to get refunded to my card despite being told 24-48 hours. This last time, it caused me to be late on my rent and I also occured $60 in late fees as a result. I would never recommend this company to anyone; unfortunately in Louisville, they are my only option.

I am rarely motivated by poor service enough to write a review. However, insight wins the award. As a single person living in an apartment with cable/internet I became livid upon finding my parents paid less for their services which also included phone and HD. Insight had raised prices over several years, wouldn't give me a compariable deal to my neighbors. Then had the audacity to tell me I needed a $10/mo box for my non digital TV even though these were given out free closer to the digital date. I have now canceled my cable. 2. Their billing department has major issues. I've been called to pay my bill through a collections agency 3 times when my bill was less than 1 week late. After asking 3 times for a list of historical charges they have not been provided. I feel overbilled and can't reconcile my payments with their charges without this data. I have no issues with other companies, am a financial analyst, and was recruited to work in their planning department....NO THANKS!

I have not had good customer service regarding my bill, since I have been a customer(1997). Only prob is, they have no real competition. in 1997, my bill for basic/classic was $25. It increased to $50 in 5 years. In 2002, I added phone service, which knocked it up to about $85. Now mind you, I have been paying same, exact services for over 5 years, and one day I come home to find all disconnected. "we did a neighborhood audit;you weren't paying for cable just phone" WRONG " they re-connected everything, and my bill jumped up $30. I bit the bullet and paid the higher rate, even though that's NOT what the sales rep stated. I had to pay to get a "mini box" just to watch basic cable, and my bill went up another $5/m(ANOTHER LIE) Just the other day, I was informed I had "signal leakage" and they were d/c-ing something else. THEY installed every bit of service I have, so I have no clue what they're talking about. I'm quite fed up with Insight.

This is the worst sales scam I have ever seen. Insight sales rep. comes to door and tells you you must have this special box for your cable ,or you will not have cable. "Everyone has to have it" and a fee of $5.00, one time fee will be applied to the bill. She invited herself in and I had also told her it was not a good time my mother is ill. She told my mother sign the paper . It will only take about 5 min. to install. We had a installation date and time of 11:30-2:30 . Service man arrived at 2:30 to install a new DVR box , that we never ordered. And not to mention the cost, it was not going to be 5 bucks and we did not need it to make cable work. The sales rep. had nothing on the pink customer copy but my Mothers signature and that was all she wanted. The service man who was very honest and said he had been in the neighborhood all morning and had 5 other people she done the same thing to. Contacting Insight Sales Manager. Please report any experience of this nature. Contacting BBB.

Insight Communication will hook up your service and then forget you exist. Called for service; the reply would be there between 8:30am and 5:30pm. Never showed. I called for explanation; Insight stated they would call back, never did. Pay them money, that is all they want. Will cancel service, soon as possible.

Insight should win awards for their absolutely horrible customer service. It is almost impossible to get anything done with them, to get information or to get decent service provided. Their website is nearly useless, when you call customer service they never keep information from previous calls (such as service order numbers), their billing is always screwed up, and their walk-in offices are nowhere near where the majority of the population in the city is. Insight has a monopoly on cable service, and they certainly take advantage of their position. If only someone else would come in and compete with them, they would probably lose 95% of their customers!

Been work on gettting a down cable line moved from my back yard for three months. The right and left hand have never ever seen each other little lone know what the other is doing. I have placed about 7 calls and one email and no closer than I was three month ago.

Good quality for the price

I moved areound a lot and had various telecommunication (cable, internet, and phone) companies provide me services. I think Insight Communications have some bugs to work out; however, my overall customer experience has been great. I am yet to see a telecommunications company please everyone. I am a satisfied customer. I get exactly what I pay for
