Not only is she fun and easy to work with, but she has experience being on both sides of the camera so she is great with guidance and direction as well. I have worked with photographers for some time now. In my experience I would show up, take a few photos and leave. I never felt a connection to what I was doing or the photos themselves. With Matchstick Creative, however, I felt entirely different.

Not only were they accommodating to my schedule, they provided brilliant insight and advice on what I was looking for. I wanted pictures of my son and I... I didn't want the "typical" posed pictures you can get in a studio. Tameka spent half the day with us, in multiple locations until she was satisfied that she captured what I wanted. The result were the most beautiful, sweet moments between a mother and her son! In 16 years, my son and I have taken a lot of pictures.... Tameka's are my FAVORITE!!!

I've done several shoots with Tameka over the past few years. Some solo, some with my son and another with my family. Every shoot was fun, professional and nothing but good times ending in fantastic photographs and treasured memories. Tameka is truly a gifted photographer. She is great with kids too as well as making her subject feel comfortable in any setting...such as myself, a new mom in a bikini!

Tameka is truly nothing less than an artist in her work. She knows what to bring out of her clients as much as she brings out in herself. Working with her was quite a joy and very comforting. we both had mutual respect and understanding. Just let her takeover she will bring life to every shot she takes. There aren't many professionals especially with a long career in the arts and entertainment industry who are as down to earth as she is. Not to be a suck up, but I believe she deserves more than five stars.

My favorite photographer! Love Tameka! She's amazing at making anyone look amazing. All the years she lived in front of the camera and now her behind it, she really knows how to capture the best YOU. I just shot with her last week and my pics are fab! She has such a great eye and is fun to shoot with. In house editing too! You can't beat that!
