      L.A. Care Health Plan, founded in 1992 and located in Los Angeles, is a nonprofit, community-based organization that offers a wide range of health plans to communities throughout the state. The organization serves more than 750,000 Los Angeles county residents, and provides the MediCal and Healthy Families programs.
