There aren't that many decent restaurants along this strech of Sunset, which is mainly fast food, the Rock 'n' Roll Ralph's and crappy strip malls. Bossa Nova is a lively spot with a good menu.

This very cool restaurant offers you an incredible selection of Brazilian food made fresh and served in large delicious portions. The food is always top notch and the price is amazing for all that you get. The place is casual and almost always crowded. They don't take reservations so be ready to order a glass of wine and wait. The indoor outdoor dining room is beautiful, but unfortunately they allow smokers which ruins it for everyone else. Bossa Nova deliver to your home, which is my favorite way to enjoy the exceptional traditional dishes or the amazing pastas and pizzas. Standouts are all pizzas, the salmon pasta, the Bossa Salad with large juicy shrimp and the traditional chicken served with black beans, rice and plantains.
