In operation for more than 25 years, it is one of the largest, nonprofit AIDS service organizations in the United States. AIDS Project Los Angeles is a community-based, volunteer-supported organization with local, national and global reach. It offers a range of food, dental care and housing options. The organization operates a community-based research unit and education department. AIDS Project Los Angeles administers the Treatment Adherence Program.
