The store has a great selectio...

The store has a great selection of merchandise, and the staff working the floor is friendly... But beware: DON'T go to the Guest Services desk and expect your claim to be resolved appropriately. Twice I have been overcharged for items and both times resulted in utilizing the incompetent "Team" at their Guest Service Desk. Both times they "accidently" pressed the "post-void" key which resulted in voiding my entire purchase (not just the overcharged items). If you use a debit card (as I did) it takes 3-5 business days for the transaction to clear and the money to be put back into your account (they will tell you it takes 2 days), and then they will ring up your items at the correct price so you can pay for them. The problem with this is that once it is completed, your account will be out 2x the original purchase amount: half is for the money that's tied up in the refund process (taking an additional 3-5 days to get to you), and the other half is bc you wanted to take your items home so you naturally paid for your purchase! Scenario to further explain: your total was $55 and one item rang up $5 more than the sticker price. You go to Guest Services to redeem your $5 overcharge and they voided your entire purchase. They ring you up again and your new total is $50. Your bank account statement will show that you spent $105 instead of $50 at Target because you're not getting the $55 back until the 3-5 business days have passed. And throughout this experience (both times) the "Team Member" assisting me must have found the situation humorus as she could not stop herself from laughing. Not once did I find it funny, especially since my original purchase amounts where $120 and $365. Try having 2x those amounts taken from your account, because of someone else's obviously funny mistakes, and not be upset! Lesson learned: never use a debit card at Target, and do NOTuse their Guest Services with the expectations of having a knowledgable & curteous Team Member there to assist you.
