My problem wasn't with Bill, (I guess the owner),he was very nice to me. My problem is the quality of work. I had a lot, I mean a lot of VHS tapes and Hi8 tapes, so I wanted to check and see if they would do a good job on transferring them to DVD's. I still had my VCR, and I viewed my VHS tapes (clear sound and pretty picture) so I knew the amount of time I had on all of them. I first took over 2 VHS tapes with over 5 hours on each. When I picked them up, he gave me a total, I thought wow, good price for what I had. Took them home, both DVD's play for a combination of 1 hour all together. So I just assumed, well my tapes are old or maybe he was trying to squeezed as much on a DVD. Took another 2 VHS tapes (over 6 hours on both), it did the same thing but they only had about total of 30 minutes all together. I talked to Bill, he said he would put them on a different speed at no extra charge. But they still did the same thing when I played them on both of my TV's. That's when I found AF Productions/AFP-HD in Tyler, Tx and Ron from that company did the rest of my VHS and Hi 8 tapes (30 items), plus offered me a deal I couldn't pass up. Don't get me wrong, if you have 1 or 2 tapes and they are some what new (not over 4 years old), they probably do good work. But for me, I didn't have a good experience. Thanks

DO NOT GO TO DVD MEMORIES BY THE ARMY-NAVY STORE ON LOOP 281!!!! The owner there is a total jerk. My car was overheating, so I had to push my car down Loop 281. The closest parking lot I could pull into was DVD Memories (thank you, gentleman in the white pick-up who pushed me). The owner asked if I had to park there. I told him my car was overheating and I needed a spot to let it cool for a little bit. He then told me that I pushed it this far, I could push it a little farther. I told him to please not be a jerk and just let me chill there. He then cursed me out, threatened to call a tow truck, and told me to step into his office and talk ****. I repeat, DO NOT SPEND MONEY THERE!!! Find another DVD transfer place.
