My daughters went to H & R Block in Lodi to do their taxes.One daughter went two weeks ago and the other one three days ago.They both teach yet one was charged $210.00 and the second one $268.00When we went back to their office today the manager said that because my second daughter had one or two other 1099's that's why she was charged more.This is a scam.Be careful going to this particular office because it seems they can charge whatever they want without really justifying it.When my daughters were doing taxes through my personal accountant the fee was always the same but since they raised the price for the girls I thought H & R Block would be more cost effective.Boy was I wrong.The manager basically told us this is the way it is.Very cold and stern.They also say the company itself makes the pricing.Be aware this is nonsense.
