Great job determining the defect and making the repair. GE oven not heating up. Mark tested the electrical circuit, found the problem to be in the connection to the oven, not the oven itself, and made the repair. Very efficient and at a fair price.
Jennifer, the office associate, was very helpful in making the appointment. She asked questions about the appliance and scheduled the appointment to fit around my schedule. Will always call them 1st.

Mark has come out and fixed my Dryer, Dishwasher and Ice maker. He always takes the best of care of every appliance. He came out 3 times to help with ice maker and only charged me for one visit. He is a great guy who knows his stuff. Would never go anywhere else. Jennifer in the office is tremendous with follow up and keeping track of everything. Would not trust anyone else.

Our Maytag fridge was not keeping food cold. Our service person was prompt and knew what needed to be fixed. The office called us in the a.m. to notify what time the tech would be out within a 2 hour window. That is exactly the time frame he was there.

They have saved me so much money over the past year and a half. I've used their service a few times. The owner is great and personable. He always treated me with respect and gave me very reasonable prices. I will recommend him to my friends and family.

I made an account here just for the sole purpose of writing this review. The appliance Doctor came to my house to replace a backed up ice maker that was leaking all over the freezer. When he showed up, he immediately took it apart. He found the mechanism that turns the teeth of the ice maker was shot. He said this was a common problem and he carries spares with him that we can buy for $90 bucks. He said he doesn't like to rip people off and they usually run $130 bucks. So I checked. Sure enough he was spot on. They ranged from $125-150



Here is where the story gets interesting. I had another freezer outside in the garage I wanted him to see. It was a completely different problem. This one had an issue with the compressor. He said it really wasn't worth it to put a new compressor on such an old refrigerator. He could have said, "sure I will do it no problem" and I would have wasted my money.



After looking at the compressor he looked inside the freezer and noticed it had the exact same mechanism as my freezer in the house. He asked if I would like him to replace the broken one in the house with this one from the garage saving me $90 bucks! Unfortunately, that too had a bad mechanism.



Here's where people are going to think I'm crazy. We have yet another refrigerator in the garage, a newer one from my Father in law, who has since moved into an apartment for health reasons. He looked in that freezer and saw it too was the same, and we took it out and of course it being a newer fridge, it was flawless. He replaced it with the one in the house saving me 90 dollars.



After all of this was said and done, he offered advice on how to maintain my other appliances so they don't break, free of charge, AND he threw in a brand new coil brush cleaner for the refrigerator so the compressor doesn't over heat and go bad for FREE!.



His whole visit, with hourly rate and labor, cost under 90 dollars! UNBELIEVABLE customer service. I will NEVER go anywhere else but here!!

I rarely write reviews, but I feel I really have to get the words out for Appliance Doctor because I was very satisfied with the refrigerator service. I called Appliance Doctor for my refrigerator water leak problem and was able to schedule an appointment on the next day. Mark came to service my refrigerator. He made sure he tested everthing to find out what the exact problem was. He is very knowledgable. He got the problem fixed and answered all my questions (I had a lot of questions) and was very patient. I was very satisfied with the service. I would highly recommend Appliance Doctor.

Mark came to our house after getting our call late in the morning.Refrigerator was not cooling.The refrigerator is an Amana(out of warenty) and Mark had been out previously on 6-09,to fix what turned out to be the same problem.The computer board had failed.

When Mark came out this time,10-10 he replaced the computer board,again,out of warrenty,but DID NOT charge us a service fee,parts only!!

Mark knows his stuff,is very professional,very personable,and knows the power of "word of mouth".

Laundry room hot and had odor due to leak in vent line. Replaced needed portions.

My dryer was not heating up. I called Appliance Doctor and the receptionist, Tracey, was very accommodating and truly seemed to care about my issue. She moved some things around so that Mark could come out the very same day... only hours after I called. Mark was able to diagnose and fully fix my issue in about an hour. He also cleaned out under my fridge at no extra charge and showed me how to do it myself in the future! Mark was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely call Appliance Doctor again if the need arose. A++
