- Primary CareYou, the patient/guarantor, are responsible to know the terms of your health insurance plan and the services your health insurance plan covers. You are responsible for securing a referral for treatment (if required) from your primary care physician. Payment of co-pays and deductibles are expected at time of service. You will also be responsible for any services provided that are not covered by your insurance plan.
- Family PracticeTracy graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2012 with a Masters Degree in Nursing with an emphasis on Family Practice. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners-Syracuse Chapter, and the Nurse Practitioner Association of New York State. She is board certified through the AANP. Tracy grew up in the Boston area, and before moving to Central New York she lived in New Hampshire. Prior to working at Syracuse Gastro she worked in Bariatric and General Surgery for Crouse Medical Practice. Tracy joined the Syracuse Gastro team in 2021.

- Irritable Bowel SyndromeDr. Berg is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He joined Syracuse Gastro in 2013 after finishing his fellowship in gastroenterology at Boston University Medical Center. He completed his internal medicine training at Yale New Haven Hospital and graduated from medical school at George Washington University in Washington DC. Specializing in fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT or fecal transplantation). He has a special interest in luminal diseases especially inflammatory bowel disease (IBD- ulcerative colitis and crohn’s disease) and irritable bowel syndrome. He has several peer reviewed articles on IBD and Clostridium difficile.
- Internal MedicineDr. Sekou Rawlins is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He joined our team in October 2019. He graduated from the BsMD program at the Howard University College of Medicine before completing an Internal Medicine residency at the Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan. He completed a Gastroenterology fellowship at SUNY Upstate, and served as an Associate Program Director for the residency program- as well as a faculty member in the division of Gastroenterology for several years. He has a particular interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
- GastroenterologyDennis Reedy is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He trained in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical College In Albany, NY and in Gastroenterology at the SUNY Health Science Center (now called Upstate Medical University) in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Reedy's areas of expertise include esophageal motility and management of diseases of the biliary tract.

- Robotic SurgeryAaron is a Syracuse native who graduated summa cum laude from LeMoyne college in 2012 and from the LeMoyne College Physician Assistant program in 2016. Following graduation, he worked as a surgical Physician Assistant at St. Joseph’s Hospital for four years in various surgical specialties and is certified in robotic surgery. He joined Syracuse Gastroenterological Associates in 2020.
