This place is TERRIBLE! They don't deserve a single star. We bought a living social deal for them MONTHS ago and still have had no service at all. We called them before buying the voucher for an estimate and he assured us it would fall within the price of the voucher. As soon as we purchased the voucher, low and behold, our price estimate jumped $500. They said they would then negotiate down from there if they could receive help from my bf (also in construction) on a different job they apparently screwed up. After that, they never returned any calls to schedule the actual job. We left 5 messages within a month, and emailed twice (at the suggestion of livingsocial), none of which were responded to. After livingsocial said we couldn't get a refund because our voucher had been marked as used, we called and again and received a TEXT MESSAGE in response from them that the voucher had been updated. Livingsocial is still telling me to schedule with them and there is no freaking way I feel comfortable with them in my home at this point. Fingers crossed we will get our money back :-(

Do not hire on for any job, no matter what price. Obscure bids you don't know what your paying for. Not punctual. Lack of communication. Job does not get done as stated on bid. Work that is done is not satisfactory and shoddy, and then covered up or not mentioned.

If I could give no stars, I would. Appointment today, 8-9 o'clock. At 9:30, I called Tom. He had to fix yesterday's job & would get here after that. I asked for a window of time -- "between now and 6." When I said I needed a more definite window, he responded, "I am not going to do your floor. I am not going to worry about it."



I should never have dealt with this company. Found them through a Living Social deal and initially, when I called the phone # provided, I left three messages before getting a call back. Today I had to call about the delayed arrival when he should have called me. My advice -- steer clear of TKC Construction.
