Dr. Vail (only Dr. in the practice) is great. No rush exams; spends time answering questions and genuinely cares, taking the time to make sure everything is accurate. My prior eye doctor charged a "fitting fee" every other time we ordered new disposable contacts for my son. Dr. Vail does not do this. All prices are fair, and they work well with insurance.

If you are in need of an eye doctor (and this applies to everyone, at some stage of his or her life), look no further than Dr. Vail. She is meticulously thorough, employs the latest in optometric equipment, and is extremely personable. It is quite obvious that she is not only knowledgeable in her profession, but enjoys her practice as well. She makes you feel like family. Happily, my wife discovered this eye clinic well over a decade ago, and then Dr. Vail became my optometrist as well. We’d never consider going anywhere else.I need to point out that the former 3-star (out of five) rating—prior to my review—is in error. Unfortunately, one of the two previous reviewers gave Dr. Vail a well-deserved glowing review, but mistakenly clicked on ONE star instead of FIVE! [Read that one-star review and you will see for yourself.]Overall, the office is modern and the staff is pleasant. You won’t be disappointed!

They have always been there for anything I need and the one mistake the lab made, they more than made up for even when they weren't at fault. I recommend anyone needing eye care to see them immediately.- a very loyal costomer

Dr. Vail and her staff are top-notch. Even people that move far away come back to see Dr. Vail. There are eye doctors all around me in Lakewood, but even though we moved 10 miles away, we go back to see her. There is one family that I know that moved to Limon...and they STILL drive 70 miles to come back to see her. It's the warm and friendly personal service, and it's the incredible staff that moves mountains with the insurance companies and bends over backwards to maximize your benefits. They are the gold standard of an excellent practice, they're great with our 3 kids, they're the best I've ever entrusted my family's care to.

We've been going to see Dr. Vail for the last 8 years. Even though we moved farther north, we still make the 30 minute drive down to the Southwest Plaza area every few months for our family's various eye appointments. The staff are all skilled, knowledgable and caring, they know your history, they care about your loved ones and they call you by name. They are masters at dealing with the insurance companies for YOUR maximum benefit. Dr. Vail herself is just outstanding, even accomodating busy folks on Saturdays that can't come in any other time. Dr. Vail has such a loyal clientele, I've even met people in the waiting room from Strasburg (!) that drove 90 minutes to get there because they didn't want to go anywhere else. Just fantastic.
