Washington Basic Skills Math-Science Magnet Interdistrict Elementary School has an enrollment of more than 600 students from prekindergarten through grade five. It has a parent-teacher association that encourages parent and community involvement for the overall development of the school. The school provides various academic courses, such as English, special education, reading, writing, life skills, math, science, social studies, language arts, and health and physical education. It also offers a variety of athletic activities that include basketball, soccer, softball, cross country, and track and field. Established in 1989, the school is operated by the Little Rock School District and is located in Little Rock, Ark.
