Founded in 2001, Bestquest Teaching Systems creates and distributes DVD-based learning programs for teachers, middle and high-school students. Based in Little Rock, Ark., it supports math educators with instructional systems. Developed by Bestqust Teaching Systems, Algebra'scool and Math'scool are DVD-based curricula that help students understand mathematics and algebra in a simpler way. The teaching systems are designed to improve test scores, teach students in a way that promotes life-long learning. The insititution custom designs the program to fit the needs of individual schools. Some of the services include group training for program implementation, individual teacher training and ongoing professional development program. The Association for Educational Publishers presented it the 2004 Golden Lamp Award and the 2004 Distinguished Achievement Award.
