House Of Hunan Restaurant

First time I've eaten here. Got Vietnamese soup and spring rolls. Lots of meat in the spring rolls fabulous peanut sauce. Absolutely delicious! The best I've had in Lincoln. I love how everything is individually wrapped for carryout perfect for leftovers. Fast and friendly service. I'll return and recommend to my friends. Same price as what you'd pay anywhere and well worth the money. You guys rock!

I hear the Chinese food is not so great here, but I always order from the Vietnamese menu and it is great! Quite a bit cheaper than other Vietnamese restaurants in town, too, like Pho Nguyen and Vung Tau -- by almost $3. I resisted trying the pho and bun here for a long time, but couldn't be happier with it at this point. So good!

I've eaten at House of Hunan for nearly 30 years. Recently, it was remodeled and the menu and staff changed. I just ate there for the first time since. It was not the same food. It was not what I've been eating for all these years. The service was confused and terrible. The orange chicken was what I had. The chicken was gray and soggy and the sauce was bland and flat. It used to be the best from any place in town. The hot and sour soup was different and even the egg rolls changed. I can't even express my disappointment and sadness. I will never go back.
