Just to be clear this location is no longer mainstreet firearms. We moved locations back in Jan. 2013. This location is still a gun store however it is not associated with Mainstreet in any way. The owner of this store has told customers in the past that it is but dont be fooled. Our new location in at the intersection of Killian Hill and HWY 29. Our new store has a 5 star rating and is much larger, we also have a 9 lane range that can support any caliber below a .50 BMG. come check us out. Mainstreet Guns and Range.

There new location on Killian Hill road and Highway 29 is awesome. Very clean, very professional, pretty good inventory, shooting lanes are clean and well light. I also took a shooting lesson from a Marine instructor that helped incredibly. Since updating in 2013 this is definetely a first class shooting range and firearm shop.

If I could give no stars I wou...

If I could give no stars I would. I'm a sick and disabled Iraqi War vet and I was looking for an AK, they told me they try to make the AKs look like a battlefield pickup, so I went on down and bought it plus 1000rnds of ammo. After going over the AK and ammo when I got home, I found out I was bent over the couch and they didn't use any lube. What really gets me going was why they were overcharging me one of them said "thank you for your service". They overcharged me like $100 on the ammo and about $200 on the AK, and of course there is no refund or returns when I went back, I'll never do business with them again. Save your money and go somewhere else, especially if you're a Veteran. Liars and thieves seem to work there. If anybody wants to contact me, here's my email. usmcdog@att.net

The experience began nicely, but an extorted fee drove me away

Started off as a good experience. They had a broad selection, knowledgable staff and reasonable prices. Enough so that I bought around $3000 worth of guns and merchandise in my first two months of doing business with them.

Then, I guess they thought I was all stocked up and wouldn't buy any more guns. I said that I was interested in buying a Taurus .357. They said that they only had one, an old, beat-up, over-priced wreck of a revolver. According to their website they had several Taurus .357's all with lower prices than what the clerk showed me. I was nice, and said I'd have to think about it.

That same week, I found a Bulgarian Makarov online, a gun that Mainstreet Firearms DID NOT have and could not get (according to them). So I ordered it. As part of Federal law, guns bought over the internet must be shipped to a licensed dealer, and usually this dealer charges a small fee. I was told the fee was $25. So, I go to pick up my gun, and the clerk tells me that for this particular online seller, they charge a $50 fee!

Basically, I was forced to pay this doubled fee or I wouldn't be able to pick up the gun I had already paid for. In other words, they held MY property hostage. I had to either pay the fee or try to negotiate a return with the seller, and depend on Mainstreet Firearms to actually ship the pistol back..

Well, they might have gotten my $50, but they're going to lose out on the extra ~$2000 worth of guns I had planned to buy from them. Take my advice, go to Bass Pro Shop or, better yet, a gun show in order to meet your firearm needs.
