      Founded in 1878 as a picnic ground, Idlewild & SoakZone is an amusement park that provides a variety of fun rides and entertainment options. It features several fun theme areas, including SoakZone Waterpark, Story Book Forest, and Mister Rogers Neighborhood of Make-Believe. The park operates Olde Idlewild, which offers more than 10 rides that include merry-go-round and roller coasters. Idlewild & SoakZone s Jumpin' Jungle area features the Alligator Swamp, Bigfoot's Mudslide, Blow Balls, Bubbling Springs and Flying Turtles rides and activities for children. It provides stroller, wagon and wheelchair rental services. The park is a part of the Palace Entertainment family of parks that hosts over 14 million visitors annually at several family entertainment centers and theme, animal and water parks. Palace Entertainment is operated by the Parques Reunidos family of parks.
