Same experience for me. Simple divorce litigation. He signed exactly one piece of paper and took $2500 from me, then suddenly is nowhere to be found. He is a coward and a con man. YOU ARE A COWARD, ROB.



COWARD!

We were completely mislead by this person. He claimed many times he had appeared in front of the board for misconduct having no fears. We tried to pay by check or money order and he demanded we cash them at Walmart and give him cash - after the fact he was complaining his ex wife was trying to increase his child support so he was hiding his money... His secretaries were very rude and unprofessional! If you called complaining you were not getting return phone calls or needed to see him they would just hang up on you stating they can only relay the message. I told us after court her would meet us outside to write us a check to refund money he owed us for depositins that never happened - he slide out the back door and ran. I have text messages he would refund money we paid but it has been almost a year and no luck getting any of our money back. In researching I found his license was suspended due to tax liens - I believe that is why he demanded cash as the amounts were within a few dollars of what he owed. After he paid his liens he was reinstated. I completely agree with the complaints listed by slinebaugh and Brian H. I do not personally know either of these people however the experiences are very similar. I am curious just how many people he took their money and ran?

This man thinks that he can make ppl pay in full and do absolutely nothing for him. He sent me two letters in the mails following my case but nothing thru the phone or in person. I hired him last October and here it is the end of July and have never had a court date, trial, or anything at all. He has all my paperwork and is completely out of business. I have heard from other attorneys around that he took a gun into court here recently. Also he has told my mother and myself that he has had his license revoked several times!!!!! He NEVER returns phone calls and him and his secretary are some very scandalous people. $1500 dollars for him to serve another individual papers. That is all he did for me! He is a real piece of work let me tell ya!!!! Do not ever trust him or use him as a lawyer. He will be sued by many here soon! They disconnected his office phone and he doesn't answer his cell phone to any number. I can go on and on. But he is no longer in business anymore.

Absolutely horrible experience! Robert was very unprofessional and unethical. Missed court dates (no show and no reason why) resulting in a warrant for arrest. Doesn't return phone calls, emails or text messages. Can't get past his admin to talk to him. I finally had to seek another attorney and the fees were less than half the retainer paid to Robert and that attorney actually showed up and represented me! I can't get Robert to refund my retainer I paid even though he did nothing to earn it and it should be still on deposit in a trust account since it hasn't been earned. I would highly recommend avoiding him.
