I'm not quick to escalate matters to the BBB, but I'm glad they are there when needed. I had a recent issue with my cable / internet service, after multiple calls to and dispatches from the company I felt my issue wasn't being properly addressed. Once I involved the BBB, the cable company was more interested in the issue, and took the time to really look into the matter. After they found MULTIPLE problems affecting their service delivery and spent 3 weeks resolving the ones they could, we reduced my monthly plan due to services they were still unable to deliver, they issued a significant credit for the months of hassle, and I finally felt like I was being taken seriously and my issues being addressed. None of that would have happened without the BBB in Lexington!
highly recommend; the only way I could get my issue resolved was with their assistance. The online forms made it quick and easy.
I recently asked the BBB to become involved in a dispute between myself and an auto service shop. Their work was shoddy and careless. The BBB intervened on my behalf and the issue was resolved in a few short days. I could not ask for any better service. Dan
Very helpful. Had the issue takenCare of very quickly. They were very polite on the phone with me, and their attitude was very enthusiastic. They really care about what people are going through, in terms of how they are being treated, they make sure there is a mutual agreement between the customer and the company before the case is closed. I'm very pleased with them, and would recommend them to anyone having issues with big companies. They are Very Good. Thanks BBB.
Disappointing help so far. After I submitted my initial complaint, they gave the business 3 weeks, and two notices to respond. After the business responded, they gave me one notice and only five days to respond before attempting to close the complaint and writing it off as "resolved". Case is now going to mediation, and is still in the scheduling phase. I sent the mediation acceptance letter back two months ago. Now, two months later, the bbb rep still hasn't even asked for my availability to schedule the meeting (the next step). Repeated emails aren't responded to by the bbb rep handling the complaint. He's lost paperwork, and claims he "was out of the office yesterday" as excuses for going nowhere with this case. So frustrated! Are they helping the businesses or the consumers here?
without the bbb I would not have received what was due to me ... they resolved my issues quickly it's great to have a super consumer advocate on your side thank you BBB !!!
It is important when you pay up front for a service that the company follow through with their service. Because of the BBB I have been reassured that I will get good service from a health business that was able to overcome some difficulty. Thank you BBB!
