Dr. Henderson is hands down the best dentist ever! Great staff! Clean/Professional atmosphere! No interest financing! Why go anywhere else! Check them out!

Do not waste your time here. I would not have given them even one star but YP would not process the posting without a rating. I was looking for another dentist when I moved to The Colony because my former dentist of 17 years is located in Mesquite. Just two far to drive. I have 2 adult daughters use Monarch and had no complaints so I thought I would try them. They were rough with the xrays, yanking and shoving the instrument and films and was told that my mouth was just too small. Really? I have never been told that before. I was told by the hygenist that I had peridontal disease and some # 6 pockets. I was appauled, I knew that could not be correct. But they were willing to charge me $793 for a deep cleaning and antibotics for the pockets. Also, I made sure in making the appointment that enough time was reserved for a cleaning not just the checkups (they don't do regular cleanings on the first visit). The hygenist leaves the room and tells the Dentist that I am ready for him to check my teeth. He asked her if I have watched the mandatory Periodontal Disease videos. She said yes and he comes in. He says I don't have any cavities and I can go upfront now to schedule an appointment for the periodontal disease issue. I said that I have scheduled a cleaning to be done today. He scooted back on his stool in disbelief and asked me if I was told that I would be getting a cleaning done today. I said yes, He wanted the name of the person I spoke with because they don't do cleanings on the first visit. Actually, Monarch will not do a regular cleaning without the deep cleaning first. Now for the zinger. I typed in Monarch to find a review place to post this review, after typing Monarch, choices popped up with " Monarch Dental - Everyone has periodontal disease." Stay away, Im just saying. I went to another Dentist in the Colony and guess what, no periodontal disease. The visit with xrays, prescription sensitive toothpaste, deep cleaning and nothing above #3 with 2 syringes of teeth whitening, which if free with every cleaning, total came to $150.

I don't recommend this place, the Customer Service is horrible. Is a dental company but looks more like a sales department. The service is not that good and the doctors I have seen better and more friendly. And If you are the kind of people that like to received answer and what is going on forget it this is not the place for you. They put you a video and let you sitting there because they have other clients to attend they don't take the time for explaining or caring.
