I absolutely love this place. The main lady who runs it is all about the community and giving back. She (pretty sure her name is Ann) is always so helpful and kind. She interacts with all of the customers and is very friendly. She prices all items very fairly. The store is always very clean and smells good. Always decorated for the next upcoming holiday! Overall, great place to shop.

BEWARE!!! Stephanie, a cashier; likes to randomly overcharge people. The first time it happened I let it go but the second time she overcharged me I complained. On top of it all she was extremely rude to me for bringing it up, with this type of cust. svc "Vintage Values" should pay me to get rid of their stuff... I'm curious to know if this business is all for profit or if some/all proceeds go to charity. I appreciate the fact that we have the option of buying second-hand items in SoMD but please don't overcharge people, it's not right.

10-9-13. As soon as we walked in this place you could tell the middle age woman at the counter in a red sweater was not nice at all. Was even raising her voice to a customer about putting their merchandise on the glass counter. Another asked her to wrap a glass item so it wouldn’t break. Her reply. “I don’t have any paper and I haven’t the time for that.” She had this arrogant, rich ugly attitude towards customers of all race. As we approached the counter with a children’s mini pool table. It was marked “Pool table balls at counter.”(Didn’t say incomplete) My son handed her the money. The woman dropped the bag of balls on the pool table. My son open the bag and discovered they weren’t all there including the white cue ball. Only 4 balls. The woman already took the cash. I told her it’s not complete and asked to refund the money to our son. Her reply was an immediate no! Asked to at least exchange or give credit. She said. “I said no, read the signs.” Pointing to three red signs behind her. NO REFUND, NO RETURNS, NO CREDIT. I said why not we haven’t walked out the door with it and it’s incomplete. She said “It may be incomplete but we don’t have time to check all the merchandise, beside those Negros back there.. Well…” And she didn’t complete her sentence. Asked to speak to the manager but she said she was the owner. So there was nothing we could do as our sons left crying.

How can she do that to a little boy! Shame on them! I would stay clear from this place. That woman is definitely racist as well!
