He was a business manager and adjunct professor at Alabama State University before completing his Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies from Franklin Pierce University. He has PA experience in geriatrics, urgent care, hematology and oncology. In addition to English, he is fluent in Spanish.

- OtolaryngologyDr. Para grew up in the Northeast and completed his undergraduate education at Duke University. He then attended Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. It was during medical school that Dr. Para became fascinated with head and neck anatomy and physiology. During his medical training, he performed research and clinical rotations in otolaryngology and became intrigued by the ability of otolaryngologists to diagnose and fix problems in difficult-to-access places in the body like the ear, nose, throat. He decided to pursue an otolaryngology residency, five years of surgical training, at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
