Dr. Narain is a board certified specialist in Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Medicine and Internal Medicine.Dr. Narain is a specialist in Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine. In addition, Dr. Narain specializes in Internal Medicine, which is a medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the internal body organs and functions of the body, such as diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and many other treatable diseases.Dr. Narain received training in internal Medicine at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, New York. His pulmonary and critical care training was at the University of South Florida Hospitals in Tampa. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He is Director of the Florida Sleep Disorders Center and has also held many positions including Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Dept. of Internal Medicine at Central Florida Health Alliance. He was the Director of the hospital Sleep Lab for many years. Dr. Narain has served on many of the Health Alliance committees. He is married to Dr. Bindoo Narain and has two children.
