MILITARY BEWARE! I rented from Jeanne Rock's company and was told that basic lawn care would be included which was stated in my rental agreement. Upon time to move out I was charge $400 dollars to re-seed the front yard due to damage from Oklahoma heat. I watered the grass but was told it wasn't enough. First of all, there is a huge tree in the front yard which cause grass not to grow due to the large roots all over the place. The grass was in the same shape when I move in. I knew since I left the house spotless they would try to get my money for some other BS. I have been in the military for 17 years and this is the first rental company that I have had any issues with. Everything was great with Rock Realty until we moved out. Everything you have heard about her business practices are spot on. In a military town she prays on people who move frequently and has no sense of business integrity. We were loyal tenants for over two years only to be screwed on the back end when we were transferred. Bottom line...Rock Realty has questionable business practices at best and is down right liars at a minimum.

Be very careful- take pictures of EVERYTHING when you leave her properties...we had a great experience and relationship with Ms Rock, until we were leaving. My husband mowed our lawn for our final inspection on 6/24/16...Ms. Rock's associate walked through on 6/25/16. We later only received 770$ of our 1000$ deposit back, and one of the reasons cited was that our grass was "extremely high", along with other things. Fortunately, my husband took date stamped pictures of the grass, and the few other things that we were wrongly cited for, and sent Ms. Rock copies. Our money (with the exception of 75$ to clean the ceiling fans!) was returned in prompt fashion. Ms. Rock is very nice, but take pictures of every single thing when you clear a property.

Jeanne Rock has been ripping me off for years 2001to 2011. I'm a former soldier with 9 years active duty service. She has managed my property for over 10 years. I kind of knew that she was over charging me for almost everything and not really keeping the house up on maintenance. I kind of put up with it because I was deployed to Korea, Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq and didn't have time to look for a new property manager. My next door neighbors complain about her and the yard has not been kept up and the house is a wreck. I recently spent $4000 to fix the house due to her neglect and not doing walk throughs, April 2011.



She also rips of the tennants when they leave the house for their security deposits. She makes up a bunch of fake charges to take their deposits. The really bad thing and the thing that pisses me off the most is that she is doing this to SOLDIERS.

This woman seems to try to ripoff everyone she comes in contact with. She rents houses with non-working smoke detectors,

and fire hazzards and then keeps the security deposit when they want refuse to move in. I wonder if the Better Business Bureau

of Lawton is on to her yet????

MILITARY RENTERS BEWARE!!! Talk to any military family that has had the misfortune of dealing with Jeanne Rock, her reputation is truly horrible around post and in town. Jeanne Rock will blatantly lie about the state of the vacated property, make accusations that have nothing to do with the truth, and fabricate "repair" receipts to make her point seem genuine. I have talked to multiple military renters who confirmed this. She waits until you are out of state, or country to send a letter explaining why a deposit is not returned and then says "I CANNOT LEGALLY DISCUSS LEASES OVER THE PHONE." This is her scam. She will threaten you and default to casually mentioning her attorney husband. (He's a tax attorney, by the way) Don't get in this situation. STEER CLEAR OF JEANNE ROCK.

Jeanne Rock is truly phenomenal when it comes to maintaining the property she has rented to you. When it comes to being honest at checkout time, she is evasive and dishonest. My wife and I spent weeks preparing to move out, repainting, doing yardwork, and getting the house into significantly better shape than it was in when we moved in. We even hired a repair man to fix the place up. And yet we did not receive our deposit. A long list of reasons was given as to why, and each was untrue. For instance, we mowed the lawn the very morning we scooted out of town, and the letter said "lawn was left unmown in violation of city codes." We weeded the garden, took timestamped photos of the garden after it was weeded, and were met with a letter telling us that we left "the garden in disarray." I could go on for 15,000 words. In short, Mrs. Rock and her agency were repeatedly dishonest with us. I called several times during the month following my vacation of Mrs. Rock's property, asking if there were anything that needed to be done to facilitate the deposit return process. My calls went either un answered or un returned. I've been LIED TO SO MUCH THAT I GET ANGRY JUST THINKING ABOUT IT. As it stands, her secretary basically admitted that my calls were being ignored in hopes that I go away. Jeanne Rock stole more than $700 from me. DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU.
